You must download the application first. Fill out the application and save. Then attach to email: [email protected]
Keep a copy of the grant application for your records.
Applications may be downloaded from the website, filled in, saved to your computer, and emailed as an attachment to [email protected] Applications will also be accepted in other formats as long as the basic form has been followed. Scanned copies are acceptable as are hard copies which can be ponied to the SEF at the board office.
Include all shipping and handling charges as part of your request.
Foundation will fund software.
When requesting software, include software approval form required by USD 305’s Executive Director for School Improvement.
The USD 305 Request to Apply for Grant form is not required when applying for any SEF Grant. If you are making dual applications to another funding source to help fund a larger project, you must fill out the USD 305 form before seeking additional grant funding.
A trustee will call all grant applicants prior to the Allocations Committee’s meeting—your opportunity to explain your request.
Collaboration among teachers is encouraged.
In making decisions, the Committee looks at number of students involved, the creativity and innovation of the request, and the direct benefit to students.
Materials provided with SEF grant monies travel within district with the teacher making the request. A teacher leaving the district may NOT take grant items to new district.
Building administrators must approve project.
The SEF cannot promise ongoing funding. Funding is dependent upon the number of grant requests and the amount of funds available.
Foundation will not fund hardware, furniture, or salaries.
Project-based grants will have priority.
